We realize that there may come a time that you need to find a new home for your cat. We understand that there are a variety of reasons for this decision.
There are a couple of options that we have:
1. Surrender- if space permits, we may be able to take your cat into our rescue. We do charge a surrender fee starting starting at $300 for each cat. The total amount would depend on medical needs, behavioral issues and the age of your cat. We do take cats that are older and those with minor medical issues. If space allows, we do also have a behavior modification program for cats with litter box issues. Your cat will NOT be euthanized due to space no matter how long the adoption process takes. The only time we euthanize is if the cat becomes seriously ill, the cat is in great pain and there is no medical treatment options available. We also do take cats that are feline leukemia positive if we have an appropriate foster home. They will not be mixed with those cats that are feline lekemia negative. At any time, you can call and check to see how your cat is doing and how the adoption process is going. Most of the time we do have a waiting list. 2. Courtesy Listing- we realize that some people would like to find their cat's new owners, but need a little help in advertising. We do have the option to post your cat on our website and several others that are related to animal rescue as a courtesy listing. This would mean that you provide us all of the information, pictures, etc. of your cat. We would list the cat and then you would be responsible for returning phone calls, replying to emails, setting up meetings/screenings and placement of the cat. We would post the listing for 30 days for a fee of $25.
